In part 1, we discussed amblyopia and strabismus. Here is reason number two on how vision therapy can help with computer-related eye strain:
In this day and age, using a computer is a necessity in the workplace. Screens are everywhere including our smart phones, watches, and even some smart refrigerators! In fact, many adults are on the computer for over 8 hours a day (not counting all the hours we spend on Facebook and Instagram!). If the visual system is inefficient this can adversely affect work productivity. Vision therapy can help reduce headaches, eye pain, and visual fatigue associated with specific visual issues that can make computer use uncomfortable and help enhance work and academic performance.
