Enhancing reading speed (and enjoyment with reading)
Many adults that we see in our practice inform us that they have been a slower than average reader their entire life. The same eye tracking issues that cause a child to have difficulty with reading continue through adulthood. In addition, reading can be physically uncomfortable for some people because the eyes do not coordinate or focus appropriately leading to headaches and eye strain, which in turn makes reading unenjoyable. At OCVT, our team is well experienced in comprehensively evaluating all aspects of visual reading efficiency in adults. Knowing the reading demands and professional/academic expectations are high in an adult, we set our goals high to help with faster reading.
