The Neuro-Optometric Association (NORA) inducted Dr. Briana Larson, Founder and Clinical Director of the Optometry Center for Vision Therapy as a Fellow of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (FNORA) during its 2014 Annual Conference in Cary, North Carolina on April 3-6, 2014. An FNORA designation is recognition of a professional’s highest level of competence in clinical abilities and scientific knowledge in the field of Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation.
Fellows are evaluated against the highest standards of professional competence and must complete a candidacy process that is typically a 2 to 5 year skills development process that involves coursework, conferences, passing written test, case studies, presentations, and being published.
Currently, there are only thirteen FNORA professionals in the United States. Dr. Larson has the distinction of being the lone practicing optometrist in the state of Texas with an FNORA credential.
The OCVT Team congratulates Dr. Larson for this prestigious achievement. We are delighted and proud to work alongside a very accomplished doctor with exemplary qualifications and a passion for providing outstanding care for each of our patients.
